Muscadine GrapesThese spicy-sweet thick-skinned grapes are an old Southern favorite and are found growing wild throughout the lower South. They thrive with little care, and the vines can remain productive for 100 years! Modern breeding has brought us a wonderful range of varieties: wine grapes for the home vintner and jelly maker, plus delicious fresh-eating varieties, some as large as golf balls!

Black; fruit are medium in size, loose clusters, and ripens late. Plant growth habits are vigorous and have good disease resistance. Southern Home's leaf shape is very unique when compared to other muscadines, the shape is similar to that of a maple leaf. It is highly recommended for ornamental uses such as arbors and fences. Sugar Content 17.5%-18.5%. Uses: Home, Wine, and Ornamental. Self fertile. Hardy Zones 7-9 (zone 6 if protected). Premier fresh eating and wine grape. Black; fruit are medium in size.
